🖤 Peanut Butter + Chocolate Puffed Rice Squares 🖤

🖤 Peanut Butter + Chocolate Puffed Rice Squares 🖤
Ingredients:
Base:
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 Cup peanut butter
- 1/2 Cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 2 Cups puffed brown rice
- 1 Cup rolled oats
Chocolate Topping:
- 1/2 Cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
Directions:
Base:
- In a medium saucepan, melt together coconut oil, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract and sea salt over low heat and stir until combined.
- Stir in puffed rice and oats. Mix well.
- Press mixture into a 9x13 inch pan lined with parchment paper.
Chocolate Topping:
- In a small saucepan, melt together chocolate chips and coconut oil and mix together.
- Pour over puffed rice base, and smooth.
- Cool in the fridge until hardened, approx. one hour. Enjoy!
Tips:
🖤 You can sub peanut butter for almond butter.
🖤 You can sub maple syrup for honey.
